Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks (Class A) on highways and local routes.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper weight distribution and securement.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging (ELD) records and compliance logs.
- Deliver freight on time and provide exceptional customer service.
- Report any mechanical issues or safety hazards immediately.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A (Must have CDL before start date).
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Must be at least 21 years old for interstate driving.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical exam.
- Basic math skills for making change and handling cash.
- Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor.
