Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial motor vehicles (CMVs) in accordance with federal and state regulations (DOT/FMCSA).
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
- Maintain accurate logs (ELD) and documentation for all deliveries and pickups.
- Load and unload cargo securely using proper safety equipment.
- Adhere to all company policies regarding driving safety and customer service.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any delays.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience preferred.
- Pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
