Responsibilities
- Operate commercial motor vehicles safely and efficiently in accordance with FMCSA regulations.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness and safety.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring cargo integrity and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic logging device (ELD) records.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety procedures at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues.
- Keep the truck clean and well-maintained during and after shifts.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A or Class B (Required).
- Current Medical Examiner’s Certificate (Medical Card).
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience within the last 3 years.
- Clean driving record with no more than 1 preventable accident in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) drug screen and background check.
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations, cargo securement, and safety protocols.
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
