Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks to deliver goods to designated locations on time and in perfect condition.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring proper weight distribution and securing freight according to safety regulations.
- Complete all necessary delivery paperwork, including bills of lading, delivery receipts, and logbooks accurately and on time.
- Maintain a clean professional appearance and adhere to company uniform policies at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and warehouse personnel to resolve any delivery issues.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A required.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC) and DOT physical card.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Clean driving record with no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to work independently.
