Responsibilities
- Perform safe and timely delivery of cargo to designated locations within the Atlanta metro area.
- Unload and secure freight accurately to prevent damage or loss.
- Conduct a pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspection to ensure safety compliance.
- Obtain signatures and proof of delivery for all shipments.
- Maintain a clean and professional appearance while representing the Swift Logistics brand.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and team members.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Minimum of 2 years of professional driving experience.
- Must be willing and able to work night shifts (10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and load/unload cargo independently.
- Strong knowledge of local traffic laws and geography.
- Pass a background check and drug screening.
