Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and trailers over assigned routes within the United States.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload freight securely, ensuring cargo safety and proper documentation.
- Maintain accurate logs (ELD) and manage delivery schedules efficiently.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delays or issues.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean MVR (Motor Vehicle Record).
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable Class A truck driving experience.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical exam and a drug screen.
- Strong understanding of interstate commerce and safety regulations.
- Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities.
