Responsibilities
- Safely operate a commercial Class A truck to deliver freight to various locations.
- Load and unload cargo using forklifts or hand jacks, ensuring weight distribution is correct.
- Complete and maintain accurate logbooks and electronic logging devices (ELD).
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries and pickups.
- Adhere to all DOT regulations, company policies, and safety procedures.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A.
- Current Medical Card (DOT Physical).
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable driving experience (long-haul preferred).
- Clean driving record (no more than 3 moving violations in the last 3 years).
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Strong communication skills and problem-solving abilities.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
