Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks (Class A or B) in accordance with all DOT regulations.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring no damage during transit.
- Maintain accurate Electronic Logging Device (ELD) logs and delivery records.
- Navigate routes efficiently to meet strict delivery schedules and time windows.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding pickup and delivery status.
- Adhere to company policies regarding safety, conduct, and vehicle maintenance.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Physical).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable driving experience.
- Clean driving record with no major violations in the past 3-5 years.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong commitment to safety and adherence to traffic laws.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.
