Responsibilities
- Operate Class A Commercial Motor Vehicles (CMVs) safely and efficiently on highways and local distribution routes.
- Perform thorough pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure 100% compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and secure freight accurately to prevent damage and ensure safe transit.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery documentation.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies.
- Provide exceptional customer service to shippers and receivers, representing the company with professionalism.
- Report mechanical issues and accidents immediately to management.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A required.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Medical Card).
- Pass a comprehensive background check, drug screening, and motor vehicle record (MVR) review.
- Ability to operate flatbed, reefer, or dry van equipment as required.
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to safety.
