Responsibilities
- Operate commercial Class A trucks safely and efficiently on local and regional routes.
- Load and unload cargo using proper equipment and techniques.
- Complete daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and maintenance reports.
- Maintain accurate logbooks and electronic logging device (ELD) records in compliance with DOT regulations.
- Ensure the security and protection of freight during transit.
- Foster a professional and courteous relationship with customers and dispatch.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC) and DOT Physical.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Strong understanding of traffic laws, safety regulations, and route planning.
