Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial motor vehicles (Class A) in accordance with FMCSA regulations and company policies.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Maintain accurate logs and delivery documentation.
- Load and unload cargo safely and efficiently using appropriate equipment.
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules and time windows.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and potential delays.
- Participate in ongoing safety training and fleet maintenance programs.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A with a clean driving record.
- Current DOT Medical Card and DOT Physical.
- U.S. Work authorization and ability to pass a background check.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable Class A driving experience.
- Strong knowledge of DOT/HOS regulations.
- Ability to operate a variety of trailer types (dry van, reefer, flatbed).
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
