Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A vehicles in compliance with FMCSA regulations and company policies.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Deliver freight to designated locations on time and in perfect condition.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and adhere to Hours of Service (HOS) rules.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and team members regarding schedules and changes.
- Secure cargo properly using straps and chains to prevent damage during transit.
- Represent the company professionally while maintaining a clean and safe driving record.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A required.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Current DOT medical card and ability to pass a DOT physical examination.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Strong knowledge of cargo securement procedures and DOT regulations.
- Ability to lift and handle freight up to 50 lbs occasionally.
- Reliable access to transportation and a clean driving record (MVR check required).
