Responsibilities
- Operate commercial Class A vehicles safely and efficiently across the region.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness.
- Load and unload freight using appropriate equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks) with care.
- Verify delivery accuracy and obtain necessary signatures from recipients.
- Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel, and delivery logs (ELogs).
- Adhere to all DOT regulations, traffic laws, and company safety policies.
- Provide exceptional customer service while representing the Apex Logistics brand.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
- Current DOT Medical Card and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
- Strong understanding of DOT regulations, Hours of Service (HOS), and safety standards.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
