Responsibilities
- Operate Class A commercial vehicles in a safe and timely manner, adhering to all traffic laws.
- Load and unload cargo using pallet jacks, hand trucks, and forklifts as needed.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic logging devices (ELD) to ensure compliance.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues.
- Interact professionally with customers to ensure satisfaction and handle any delivery inquiries.
- Manage inventory and paperwork related to deliveries accurately.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT) or ability to obtain one.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable driving experience preferred.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Strong knowledge of the Tucson, AZ area and surrounding regions.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and performing manual labor.
