Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and delivery vehicles in a professional and courteous manner.
- Load and unload freight efficiently, ensuring cargo is secure and protected from damage.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Maintain accurate driver logs (ELD) and delivery documentation (BOL/POD).
- Navigate complex routes and adhere to strict delivery schedules and time windows.
- Practice strict safety protocols, including defensive driving techniques and seatbelt usage.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and team members.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Current DOT Medical Card (Medical Examiner's Certificate).
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no major violations within the last 3 years.
- Ability to lift and move freight weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Basic computer literacy for logging and documentation.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
