Responsibilities
- Operate commercial tractor-trailers in a safe and efficient manner across Kansas City, MO, and Virginia.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment, ensuring safety and security.
- Maintain accurate driver logs and records as required by federal law.
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries and pickups.
- Adhere to all company policies, safety procedures, and traffic laws.
Qualifications
- Must hold a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
- No experience required if you are willing to enroll in our sponsored training program (Class A CDL required by start date).
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical and drug screen.
- Strong understanding of road safety and traffic regulations.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform manual tasks associated with loading/unloading.
- Willingness to travel and work varying schedules, including weekends and holidays if necessary.
