Responsibilities
- Operate commercial Class A vehicles to transport freight safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload cargo using proper lifting techniques and equipment.
- Maintain accurate logs (ELD) and adhere to all DOT and company safety regulations.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness.
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries.
- Ensure the securement of cargo and document any damages immediately.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A with a clean driving record (MVR).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable Class A driving experience.
- Current DOT Medical Card and Hazmat endorsement (preferred).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws and safety protocols.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions.
