Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to deliver freight to customers in and around the Milwaukee area in a timely and efficient manner.
- Load and unload cargo accurately using proper lifting techniques and equipment to ensure product integrity.
- Maintain accurate records of delivery logs, mileage, and inspection reports (DOT compliant).
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the vehicle is in safe operating condition.
- Provide exceptional customer service by interacting professionally with clients and resolving any delivery issues on-site.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations to ensure a clean driving record and accident-free operations.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL Class A or Class B) required (CDL Class A preferred).
- Current DOT Medical Card and valid medical certification.
- Clean driving record with no recent DUIs or major moving violations.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Ability to lift heavy packages and work in various weather conditions.
- Basic computer literacy for logging duties and communication.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
