Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance and vehicle readiness.
- Safely load, secure, and unload freight using appropriate material handling equipment.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, and company safety policies.
- Navigate delivery routes efficiently, ensuring timely and accurate delivery to customers.
- Maintain a professional demeanor when interacting with customers, drivers, and warehouse staff.
- Complete all required daily logs, delivery receipts, and paperwork accurately and on time.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) required.
- Must possess a current Medical Examiner’s Certificate (DOT Medical Card).
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable Class A driving experience within the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Strong physical stamina to lift, carry, and maneuver cargo up to 50 lbs.
- Basic knowledge of GPS navigation and electronic logging devices (ELD).
