Responsibilities
- Operate a commercial Class A truck to deliver freight to customers in a timely and safe manner.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload trailers using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Verify delivery documents and obtain proper signatures.
- Maintain a clean and professional appearance while representing the company.
- Adhere to all DOT regulations, traffic laws, and safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC).
- Ability to pass a DOT drug screen and criminal background check.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Basic math skills for cargo verification.
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays if necessary.
