Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial delivery vehicles (Class A or B) on assigned routes within the San Jose area.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Load and unload cargo using proper lifting techniques and equipment (pallet jacks, forklifts).
- Ensure all delivery paperwork is completed accurately and on time.
- Provide excellent customer service and handle any delivery-related inquiries professionally.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the delivery truck at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday).
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable driving experience.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong knowledge of local roads and traffic patterns in San Jose, CA.
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly.
- Must possess a valid Social Security Card and proof of eligibility to work in the USA.
