Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and delivery vehicles to ensure timely and accurate freight delivery.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to maintain safety standards and compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload cargo using hand trucks, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment, ensuring proper securing of goods.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, bills of lading, and other necessary paperwork with 100% accuracy.
- Provide exceptional customer service by interacting professionally with clients and ensuring satisfaction with every delivery.
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or Class B required.
- Clean driving record (MVR check required) with no major violations in the past 3 years.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience in a logistics or freight environment.
- Ability to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) and flexible hours as business demands.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly and standing for extended periods.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to navigate complex delivery routes efficiently.
