Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A or B commercial vehicles in compliance with all FMCSA regulations and company policies.
- Deliver freight to designated customer locations on time and in excellent condition.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery documentation.
- Interact professionally and courteously with clients, drivers, and the public at all times.
- Load and unload cargo securely using proper equipment (forklift, pallet jacks, etc.) when required.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and report any vehicle maintenance needs immediately.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record (MVR).
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience preferred.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws, road safety, and navigation systems.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to meet strict delivery deadlines.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as required.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
