Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks (Class A/B) to transport goods to various locations in the NY area.
- Load and unload cargo safely and efficiently, ensuring proper securement.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies at all times.
- Maintain accurate logs and documentation as required by DOT regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries and pickups.
- Report any vehicle maintenance issues or safety hazards immediately.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or Class B.
- Current DOT Medical Card.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable driving experience.
- Clean driving record (MVR check required).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Basic knowledge of vehicle mechanics and safety equipment.
- Strong communication and time-management skills.
