Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles (Class A or B) to deliver goods to various customer locations in a timely and safe manner.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
- Load and unload cargo using proper safety techniques and equipment.
- Maintain accurate logs, mileage records, and delivery documentation.
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients and resolve any delivery issues professionally.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable driving experience in a professional setting.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screen.
- Strong understanding of traffic laws, DOT regulations, and safety protocols.
- Basic computer skills for logging and communication.
- Willingness to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
