Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and tractor-trailers over assigned routes.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring all documentation is accurate.
- Maintain a clean and organized cab and cargo area at all times.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Must possess a clean driving record (MVR) and acceptable background check.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience preferred.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical examination.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Basic computer literacy for logging duties and electronic logging devices (ELD).
