Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial trucks on regional and long-haul routes.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring all freight is secured and handled with care.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery paperwork.
- Adhere strictly to all Department of Transportation (DOT) and company safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL Class A).
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience.
- Current DOT Medical Card (or ability to obtain one).
- Pass a drug screen and background check.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Must have a clean driving record (MVR).
