Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks (Class A) safely and legally in accordance with FMCSA regulations.
- Ensure timely delivery of freight to designated locations.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical safety.
- Complete accurate delivery paperwork and electronic logging (ELD).
- Load and unload cargo using proper securing techniques.
- Maintain a clean driving record and a professional appearance.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (Class A) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Current DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) drug screen and background check.
- Strong understanding of traffic laws, safety procedures, and map reading.
- Willingness to work varying shifts and long hours as required.
