Responsibilities
- Safely operate tractor-trailers for local and regional deliveries
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Inspect vehicles before/after shifts and report maintenance needs
- Adhere to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Load/unload cargo with proper equipment and techniques
- Optimize routes for on-time delivery performance
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable OTR experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Knowledge of LA traffic patterns and delivery zones
- Smartphone for app-based communication
- Flexible availability including weekends
- Zero preventable accidents in last 3 years
