Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks (Class A) to transport goods safely and efficiently across routes.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance and safety standards.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours and delivery records in compliance with FMCSA regulations.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring proper weight distribution and securing loads for transit.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and warehouse staff to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable professional driving experience.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong understanding of traffic laws, safety regulations, and cargo handling procedures.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays if necessary.
