Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks safely and efficiently, strictly adhering to all traffic laws and company protocols.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to guarantee cargo and equipment safety.
- Secure cargo properly and complete necessary freight documentation accurately.
- Maintain accurate records using Electronic Logging Devices (ELD) in full compliance with FMCSA regulations.
- Communicate proactively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any necessary route adjustments.
- Uphold the company's high standards of customer service and safety compliance at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Current DOT medical card and negative drug screen results.
- Strong understanding of cargo securement and safety regulations.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and MVR review.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts as business demands.
