Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Safely operate commercial tractor-trailers to deliver freight on time and in perfect condition.
- Maintain accurate logs (ELD) and complete all required paperwork accurately and on time.
- Load and unload cargo safely, ensuring proper weight distribution and securing freight.
- Adhere to all DOT regulations, company policies, and traffic laws at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any delays.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A with a clean driving record (MVR).
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable Class A driving experience.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong knowledge of DOT hours-of-service regulations and safety protocols.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to work flexible schedules and handle the physical demands of the job.
