Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks (Class A or B) to deliver freight on time and within schedule.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, documenting all findings accurately.
- Load and unload cargo using proper equipment, ensuring securement and safety.
- Maintain accurate Electronic Logging Device (ELD) records and comply with Hours of Service (HOS) regulations.
- Adhere to all local, state, and federal DOT regulations and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and team members to resolve issues promptly.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A or Class B with the appropriate endorsements.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience (recent graduates may be considered).
- Current Medical Examiner’s Certificate (MEC) meeting DOT standards.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and performing manual tasks.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws, safety procedures, and navigation.
