Responsibilities
- Operate commercial Class A vehicles safely and efficiently to meet delivery schedules.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and adhere to traffic laws.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring proper weight distribution and protection.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding route changes and delivery issues.
- Keep the truck clean and organized at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record (no more than 3 moving violations in the last 3 years).
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience preferred.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination and drug screen.
- Strong knowledge of the Boston, MA area and surrounding regions.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to work independently.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
