Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks (dry van, reefer, or flatbed) on interstate and local routes.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance and safety.
- Load and unload freight efficiently, ensuring cargo security during transit.
- Maintain accurate Electronic Logging Device (ELD) records and adhere to Hours of Service regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and potential delays.
- Uphold the highest standards of safety and professionalism at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable OTR or regional driving experience.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws, road safety, and cargo handling procedures.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
