Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks (Class A) in accordance with federal and state regulations.
- Complete daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical safety.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging (EOBR) and paperwork compliance at all times.
- Load and unload cargo securely, adhering to weight distribution and safety guidelines.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery times and route changes.
- Represent the company professionally while on the road and at loading docks.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable driving experience in last 3 years.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Physical).
- Clean driving record with no DUIs or major violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Strong communication skills and problem-solving abilities.
