Responsibilities
- Operate commercial Class A trucks safely and efficiently on all highway and local routes.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance and safety standards.
- Load and unload freight, ensuring cargo is secured properly to prevent damage during transit.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and adhere to Hours of Service regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service by delivering freight on time and communicating any delays professionally.
- Keep the truck cabin and exterior clean at all times to represent the company's brand image.
- Report any mechanical issues or accidents immediately to fleet management.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) issued by the state.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Medical Card).
- A clean driving record with no more than 3 preventable accidents in the past 3 years.
- U.S. citizenship or valid work authorization.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable Class A driving experience (OTR or regional).
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
