Responsibilities
- Safely operate a commercial motor vehicle (CMV) in accordance with FMCSA regulations.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical safety.
- Load and unload cargo securely, adhering to weight limits and safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic logging devices (ELD) and driver logs.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery times and route changes.
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the cab and cargo area.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable tractor-trailer experience.
- Current Medical Examiner’s Certificate (MEC).
- Clean driving record (MVR) within the last 3 years (no major violations).
- Ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screen.
- Strong understanding of DOT/HOS regulations.
