Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and maintain adherence to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the equipment is road-ready and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Load and unload cargo securely, utilizing proper lifting techniques and securing devices.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date delivery logs, including electronic logging devices (ELD) records.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and team members regarding delivery schedules and potential delays.
- Uphold the company's high standards of customer service and safety culture at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record (MVR).
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable Class A driving experience.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination and drug screen.
- Strong knowledge of vehicle systems, safety procedures, and cargo handling.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
