Job Overview
We are seeking professional drivers who take pride in their work and prioritize safety above all else. As a driver with Apex Logistics, you will be the face of our brand, delivering essential goods across the region with speed and care.
Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks safely and efficiently on regional and local routes.
- Load and unload cargo according to safety regulations and proper securement procedures.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Maintain accurate logbooks and electronic logging device (ELD) records compliant with FMCSA regulations.
- Ensure timely delivery of goods to customers while adhering to strict schedules.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding status updates and potential delays.
- Adhere to all company policies, safety protocols, and traffic laws.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Current DOT Medical Card and ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws, safety regulations, and cargo securement.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays if required.
