Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A trucks over various terrains and distances.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring proper weight distribution and handling.
- Maintain accurate logs (ELD) and daily logs, including Hours of Service (HOS) compliance.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety protocols at all times.
- Keep the truck clean and well-maintained throughout the shift.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A with a clean driving record.
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience preferred.
- Current DOT Medical Card and physical capabilities to meet DOT requirements.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong time management skills and attention to detail.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends or overtime as needed.
