Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class 8 tractor-trailers on dedicated Southern California routes
- Load/unload freight with precision using advanced loading systems
- Maintain meticulous electronic logs and compliance documentation
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections ensuring DOT compliance
- Optimize delivery routes for maximum efficiency and on-time performance
- Communicate proactively with dispatch and clients throughout transit
- Participate in continuous safety training programs
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable OTR or regional trucking experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with California weight regulations and HAZMAT protocols
- Proficient in ELD systems and route navigation technology
- Strong communication skills and customer service orientation
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
