As a key member of our logistics network, you will be responsible for transporting goods across the Southwest with the highest level of efficiency and professionalism.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial motor vehicles (CMVs) in accordance with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations (FMCSR) and company policies.
- Load and unload cargo accurately, ensuring proper securement and weight distribution.
- Maintain the cleanliness and mechanical condition of the truck, reporting any maintenance needs immediately.
- Complete all required daily logs (DOT logs), mileage reports, and delivery paperwork accurately and on time.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and ensure the safety of passengers, other drivers, and pedestrians at all times.
- Navigate complex routes and traffic patterns in the San Antonio metro area and surrounding regions.
- Provide exceptional customer service to shippers and receivers.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A (or ability to obtain one within 60 days).
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience preferred.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC).
- Clean driving record with no more than 3 moving violations in the past 3 years.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws and safe driving practices.
- Must be willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
