Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class 8 semi-trucks on regional routes within Oklahoma and surrounding states
- Perform pre-trip inspections and routine vehicle maintenance checks
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and HOS compliance
- Coordinate with dispatch for efficient load planning and delivery timelines
- Maintain accurate logs and documentation using electronic logging systems
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading operations
- Implement defensive driving techniques in all weather conditions
- Collaborate with logistics team to resolve shipment discrepancies
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL-A) with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year of tractor-trailer experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Proficient in using electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Familiarity with regional Oklahoma roadways and infrastructure
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs for cargo securement
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Willingness to work flexible schedules including early mornings
