Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A vehicles over regional routes within California and surrounding areas.
- Load and unload freight efficiently while adhering to safety protocols and weight restrictions.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and ensure full compliance with DOT regulations.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the safety and cleanliness of the equipment.
- Provide exceptional customer service during pick-ups and deliveries, resolving any issues professionally.
- Manage cargo handling to ensure goods arrive in perfect condition.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable driving experience in a similar role.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical and drug screen.
- Willingness to obtain Hazmat or Tanker endorsements if required for the position.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws, safety regulations, and navigation systems.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
