Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class 8 tractor-trailers on dedicated regional routes covering Texas, Louisiana, and Oklahoma
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate electronic logs (ELD)
- Load/unload freight with proper securement techniques following DOT guidelines
- Communicate with dispatch team regarding delivery status, delays, and route changes
- Uphold strict safety standards and defensive driving practices at all times
- Complete required paperwork including bills of lading and delivery confirmations
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL-A) with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of FMCSA regulations and securement protocols
- Strong time management and communication skills
- Flexibility to work nights/weekends as needed for delivery schedules
- Basic proficiency with electronic logging devices (ELD)
