Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles on regional routes within 500-mile radius
- Perform thorough pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle logs
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient loading/unloading procedures
- Adhere to FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols at all times
- Utilize telematics systems for real-time tracking and route optimization
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Maintain clean driving record and complete required training modules
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with minimum 2 years verifiable experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proficient in electronic logging devices (ELD) and basic GPS navigation
- Strong time management and problem-solving abilities
- Willingness to work flexible schedules including weekends
- Previous experience with dry van or refrigerated trailers preferred
