Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial trucks for regional routes (200-300 miles/day)
- Plan efficient routes using GPS technology while maintaining delivery schedules
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate DOT compliance logs
- Load/unload cargo with proper equipment and safety protocols
- Build client relationships through professional communication
- Adapt to changing conditions while prioritizing safety and on-time performance
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no DUIs in past 5 years)
- Minimum 2 years OTR or regional experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and random drug screenings
- Proficient in electronic logging device (ELD) usage
- Familiarity with Minneapolis metro and Midwest corridor routes
- Strong attention to detail for documentation and inventory
- Physical capability to handle cargo up to 70lbs
