Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A trucks in accordance with FMCSA regulations and company policies.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical safety and compliance.
- Load and secure freight accurately to prevent damage during transit.
- Maintain accurate daily logs (ELD) and electronic records.
- Provide exceptional customer service to shippers and receivers at delivery locations.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and participate in ongoing safety training programs.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A with a clean driving record (MVR).
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable Class A driving experience.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical exam.
- Strong knowledge of cargo securement and highway safety regulations.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends if necessary.
