Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks (Class A CDL) safely and efficiently on various routes.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance.
- Load and secure cargo according to safety regulations and weight limits.
- Maintain accurate logs and delivery documentation at all times.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) required.
- Must possess a clean driving record (MVR) and good standing.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable OTR or regional driving experience.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to meet strict deadlines.
- Basic computer literacy for digital logging devices (EOBR).
